YFM in collaboration with MTN, rLG and EKB Records has announced names of some of the artists on the highly anticipated ‘LOUD IN GH’ concert, slated to come off on Saturday December 17, at the Conference Center’s Dome.  The list includes hit makers like Samini, VIP, Trigmatic, Eazzy, 4X4, Okyeame Kwame, Tiffany, D Cryme amongst many others.

‘LOUD IN GH’ is an annual concert that brings together artists that have bombarded the airwaves and music charts with notable hits throughout the year. The inaugural concert, which amassed over 2 000 fans last year, gives listeners and fans complete access to their choice of artistes.  With 12 slots set for artiste performances, Yfm gave its listeners the autonomy to text in and nominate their favourite stars for 2011. The premise of this initiative was  not solely entertainment but to primarily laud the hardwork of our Ghanaian artistes and motivate them through their performances and interaction with the fans.

One exciting twist to the event will be surprise performances by two of Ghana’s most sought-after artists. If its track record is anything to go by, ‘LOUD IN GH’ promises to be an unforgettable explosion of live Ghanaian talents at its best.

Explaining their commitment to being the best, Nana Kwame Sarpong, Station Manager for Yfm, asserted that “As a primarily youth oriented station, we are challenged everyday to present exceptional concepts that will excite and maintain interest within our community. We are always looking for new ways to make our listeners happy and this is the opportune event. Most concerts are held without the active involvement of the fans who are the most important people beside the performers. We wanted to do otherwise because that is what Yfm’s Y experience is all about.”
