Sarkodie takes to Twitter to vent about Africa and her problems: Suggests drastic measures be taken

The rapper took to Twitter to vent at how our leaders have disappointed us. He even suggested that may be a dictatorship could help solve our problems. “What we need at this point might seem like dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal freedom for a minute but we need drastic measures to survive,” he tweeted. https://twitter.com/sarkodie/status/1072644839945179136 In another tweet, he wrote: “We can’t be taking orders from the oppressor… it will never be in our favor.” https://twitter.com/sarkodie/status/1072643482689421312 He also went ahead to allude to the possible modern day colonialism that was being done subtly by “our colonial masters”. “Lemme predict what’s gonna happen: they will come in with money to buy our rights again and build their labels here … sign 90% of us and control the revenue… And our survival instincts might not help with the best decisions.” https://twitter.com/sarkodie/status/1072530001369673729 The “Biibiba” hit maker went ahead to suggest that our generation was responsible to make the changes that we so much desire “At this point , to make a change , let’s forget about the older generation, even our generation and impact the next,” he added. https://twitter.com/sarkodie/status/1072530001369673729 The rapper also charged his fellow Africans to take our pride back. “Those feelings are coming back again as always … My dream is for Africa to realize our power and care for our people … We need to take our pride back,” he said in another post. https://twitter.com/sarkodie/status/1072635157646114816 Sarkodie has never been the type to keep quiet about issues relating to governance.
