Sarkodie’s collaboration with Bob Marley is beautiful; at least he featured a ghost- Shatta Wale
“Dancehall King”, Shatta Wale has reacted to Sarkodie’s recent collaboration with the legendary Bob Marley.
According to him, the collaboration is nothing special, so he doesn’t understand the uproar on social media.
Speaking in an interview on Luv FM, not only did Shatta mock the project, but he also downplayed the significance of Sarkodie being featured on a Bob Marley classic.
‘‘I don’t think it should be a problem. As we hear, Sarkodie has featured Bob Marley, it’s so beautiful, at least we have someone who has featured a ghost, we should praise him,’’ Shatta said in the interview.
News about the B.E.T award-winning rapper landing himself a collaboration with the late Bob Marley hit social media on Wednesday, January 18.
The ‘landlord’ of Ghana music was tapped to bring a new twist to the classic Bob Marley and The Wailers’ ‘Stir It Up.’
The remix aims to connect Africa and the Caribbean while also making a strong statement about the global existential connection between Africans and Blacks.
