ZDON9Nigerian singer, Zdon Paporrella seems ready to mark his return to the Nigerian music scene with his aptly latest single, “Aye’n soro (Rise Again)”. The upbeat song featuring Faze sees Zdon has moved from working behind the scenes back to the forefront of the industry. The song and the new music video Akin Alabi with special appearances by Faze, Goldie, and  Oyinkansola will not only make you want to move your feet, but will leave you feeling uplifted with its positive message.

“I’d say God inspired the song directly because it was the first song ever that came to me with lyrics and not just the melody. When I made up my mind to feature another artiste, Faze’s name popped up in my head immediately. So I just went with my guts,” explains the singer.

Zdon Paporrella is a veteran of the Nigerian music scene. He first arrived as a member of ZIP (Zdon, Icy, and Paul) in 1997.  ZIP separated in 2005 and Zdon began his solo career the same year.  His debut single “Na U” received widespread airplay. In 2007 “Na U” was followed by “Nonsense” a song that looks critically into the ills of the Nigerian music industry. Zdon Paporrella is currently working on his third CD titled “IAMZDON”.  The first single and video released, “My Time” features Mr. Raw Nwanne received widespread airplay.
