Popular Nigerian Comedian, Basketmouth has disclosed that Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale will be on his next album.

The Comedian cum rapper, who is currently in Ghana promoting his upcoming show, revealed that the controversial “Dancehall King” is on his next album.

“Shatta Wale is actually on my next album. It is just interesting how everything is happening. Like this whole Ghana integration with myself and you guys,” he told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

“I have known Shatta Wale for a while but we’ve never had the opportunity to talk properly. I told him I was working on an album and I’d love for him to jump on. I sent the song to him and he loved it. He was done with it in a few hours and sent his verse and he nailed it,” Basketmouth disclosed.

Basketmouth disclosed that Shatta Wale did for him what nobody has ever done before; he sent him the verse, for free.

“The guy said something interesting. He said it is for free, I don’t need to pay him royalty or anything. Take it, it is yours. Nobody has ever done that before and to think it is a Ghanaian brother doing that, it made me very humble,” he added.

Basketmouth, who has been in the comedy industry for more than 25 years is currently in Ghana for his upcoming comedy show at the Accra Conference Center on Saturday 8th April 2023.
