Shatta Wale made extra monetary demands at a late stage-Organisers of party in the park reveals
Organizers of ‘Ghana Party in the Park’ in the UK have revealed the main reason why award-winning Dancehall act, Shatta Wale was dropped just a few hours to the show.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Akwaaba Group, the company in charge of organising the event Dennis Tawiah, Shatta Wale made some monetary demands which could not be met at the time.

In an interview with Attractive Mustapha, Mr Tawiah stated;
“A demand was made at a very late stage and we wanted to discuss it with his representatives. It was a monetary demand. It came in exactly a day to the show.”

Shatta Wale was billed to headline the 2022 ‘Ghana Party in the Park’ in the UK.
However, a day to the show, the “On God” hitmaker revealed in an Instagram post that he and his team were not being provided for.
“You can put up a stage but can’t cater for “artiste team” ..are you ok ?
If Ibe mic and stage plenty deh Ghana and money deh here too fuckkk!!” Shatta Wale wrote.

A few moment after Shatta Wale’s post, the event organisers also issued a disclaimer to event goers stating that Shatta Wale and Kofi Kinaata, previously booked for the show will not be performing.
