When news broke out that Vanessa Nicole, Comedian Funny Face’s ex, and baby mama was open for a comeback, people on the internet were not happy.

According to Vanessa, whose relationship with with Funny Face ended about three years ago, they weren’t patient with each other, hence the reason their partnership did not work out.

In a recent interview with Kwaku Manu, she said;

“We weren’t patient with each other. We didn’t take the time to truly understand and know each other better. We met in September, and by October, I was already pregnant. We are both at fault. Despite everything, I just hope for the best.”

Vanessa’s revelation of having hopes that she could rebuild her relationship with Funny Face was met with heavy criticism as people opined that she was not good for Funny Face.

However, in a new Instagram live video, Vanessa has shared a few words with her critics.

“Me, I’m not a hypocrite. At the end of the day, Funny Face has not sat anywhere to say I am a bad person. I’m not stupid, I’m a mother, the internet does not forget. Most of you will not understand me. Between Funny Face and myself, we had so many issues. People did not understand the interview I did. But let me tell you one thing, a man I share three kids with, there’s no way he’ll listen to what I said and go like ah, Vanessa it wasn’t nice of you to say this. There’s a difference between a man you are merely having sex with and one you have kids with. That’s why I said I am matured now, not because I’m suffering, I’m not suffering, I’m okay,” she said.

She continued; “We have a connection oo, and even if I’ve wronged him, he loves his children and I love the children too, that’s the connection.

“I don’t want to get back with anybody. As I said in the interview, if you wake up and you see that me and the person you are fighting for are back together, what will you do? You will be a third person; you will just be a fool,” she concluded.
