Social media reacts as Tems’ gown blocks Oscar attendees view inside auditorium
Nigerian singer, Tems, made her first appearance at the 2023 Oscars and has left an indelible mark.
Tems, who was nominated in the “Original Song” category with “Lift Me Up” which she co-wrote with Ryan Coogler for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, made her red carpet debut at the Academy awards in a beautiful white gown by Lever Couture.
Although Tems’ gown was red carpet fabulous, her seating inside the auditorium made it hard for anyone sitting behind her to catch a glimpse of the main stage as her gown, which featured a very high shoulder, blocked the view.

Tems’ gown has since become the subject of discussion on social media, as some users believe her stylists should have taken her seating into consideration.
