Stars of the Future 5 winnerThe winner of the just ended season 5 of the Stars of the Future singing contest, Emmanuel Yawson has been presented with a brand new Hyundai i10 salon car in fulfillment of the winning package promised by event organizers, Charterhouse.  On May 21, he beat three other finalists to emerge winner of the most prestigious music reality show in Ghana.

He won for himself a brand new Hyundai i10 car and an enviable recording contract. The brief event took place at the showroom of Auto Plaza, a sponsor for reality TV series, on June 9. 2011. It was attended by representatives of Charterhouse, family members and friends of Star of the Future season five. The presentation started with a tour of the facility and an interaction with senior management of Auto Star on operations of the authorized dealers of Hyundai cars in Ghana.

Presenting the keys to Emmanuel, the Managing Director of Auto Plaza, Jihad Hijazi congratulated Emmanuel for his amazing talent and courage that saw him conquering the thirteen week keenly contested competition. He encouraged the future star not to relent in his quest of becoming a mainstream artist.

Jihad further urged Emmanuel to also take advantage of the opportunity presented to him before commending Charterhouse for executing a fantastic production. He assured of his company’s support for such laudable initiatives.

On his part, Emmanuel was thankful to God for his victory and also Charterhouse for giving him the platform to exploit his talent. He also thanked Auto Plaza and all sponsors for supporting the competition which has brought him into the limelight and hopefully achieving his dream of becoming a great singer.

Producer of the Stars of the Future season five, George Quaye expressed his gratitude to Auto Plaza for partnering Charterhouse for the success of the competition. He hinted of a more surprises to come with season six of Stars of the Future. The event came to an end with a photography session.
