Founder and lead Pastor of RockHill Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Sonnie Badu has given a run down of why he charges high rates for shows.

According to the celebrated gospel singer, he has worked hard to place value on his craft, hence, his rates. He therefore urged fellow musicians to follow suit.

Sonnie Badu was speaking in an interview with ZionFelix when he made this assertion.

He also explained that his high rates for shows is one of the reasons why he hasn’t been seen performing on some big states especially in Ghana,

Although Dr Badu is “expensive,” he states that the right people always pay for his excellence.

“The experience, the euphoria, you cant match it to anything and I enjoy what I do. I’ve worked hard for the value and I will not compromise for the value. I hope a lot of people will watch the paradigm ad become that because it is possible when you do things right everybody will pay for excellence,” he told Zion.

The man of God also explained that fans who cannot afford to see him perform live can do so on YouTube, even though the experience is different.

“Glory be to God, there is YouTube. If you can’t see me physically, you might as well watch me from there and even on your phones but it is different when I am right there,” he added.
