Stacy and Okyeame Quophi’s Daughter, Calista Amoateng wins Miss Teen Tourism World 2022

Calista Amoateng, daughter of media personalities Stacy Amoateng and Okyeame Quophi, has been crowned Miss Teen Tourism World 2022 at the Mr. and Miss Teen Tourism event held in the Philippines.

Flying the flag of Ghana high in the pageantry, the talented rapper who has a great love for the arts made the nation proud by being crowned the winner of the event which took place after several beauty pageants from across the globe.

Announcing her win on social media, her mum, media personality Stacy Amoateng wrote:

We Won, Ghana Won!

Mr. and Miss Tourism events are one of the most influential beauty pageants that grooms young ladies to be abreast with their country’s culture and traditions.

The 3rd edition of the event was held in Manila, the Philippines from July 28 to August 6, 2022.

The 16-year-old first-year student of the Achimota School was selected to represent Ghana after she emerged as the winner of the Miss Tourism Ghana 2022. She is also an actress and a model and has featured in television several TV commercials.

Young Calista, seeking to make it big on the world stage, has a talent in drawing, make-up artistry, and hair styling. She is perusing Visual Arts majoring in Graphic Design, jewelry, and General Knowledge in Arts.

She is fluent in English, Korean, and Twi. Calista has won several awards including Emerging Artist of the Year at Africa Business and Arts Awards 2021; Emerging Artiste of the Year – Emerging Music Awards 2020 ad New Artiste of the Year – Ghana Social Media, Business and Creative Arts Awards 2020.
