2017 BET Awards Best International Act AfricaMultiple award-winning dancehall singer, Stonebwoy will lift the flag for Ghana at the BET Awards, as the only nominee from Ghana in the Best African Act category. Mr Eazi, who also traces the success of his music to Ghana is also shortlisted  in the category. The other nominees from the continent include Starboy frontman Wizkid, Tekno, Davido (Nigeria), as well as AKA, Nasty C, and Babes Wodumo (South Africa). Meanwhile, Beyoncé  leads all artists with seven nominations including one for the award show’s highest honor, video of the year, for “Sorry.”The 2017 edition of the awards is scheduled for the Microsoft Theatre on June 25.
