Stonebwoy stirs up Jamaican audience with a stellar performance at the Rebel Salute Concert

Ghanaian reggae dancehall musician, Stonebwoy delivered an outstanding performance at the much-anticipated Rebel Salute Festival in Jamaica over the weekend.

Stonebwoy, the CEO of Burniton Music Group was the only African prominent artiste booked to perform at the two-day event which took place at Plantation Cove in St Ann, Jamaica on January 20 and 21, 2023.

Rebel Salute Music Festival started on 1994 and since it is held every year in Jamaica around January 15th the date of Tony Rebel, the reggae icon, birth date (January 15th 1962).

The event is known as one of the greatest cultures and music Jamaica’s events, the audience get to enjoy performances of the best musicians in diverse compositions, playing Reggae, Dancehall, Roots reggae, Reggae fusion, etc…

During a three-year sponsorship agreement with PepsiCo, the festival was dubbed the Pepsi Rebel Salute. Festival organizers stated that they pursued the agreement because Pepsi products were more in line with the festival’s stance, which prohibits alcohol and meat.

Stonebwoy performed a number of songs, including Therapy, Wame, Tuffseed, Hero, Gidigba, and a number of his hit songs.
