Suspected killer of Kumawood’s Abass ‘Blinkz’ arrested
Sumaila Tijani, a suspect in the murder case of Kumawood actor Abass Nurudeen ‘Blinkz’ has been arrested from his hideout at Atimatim in the Tafo-Pankrono Municipality.
Tijani is one of two suspects who allegedly stabbed Blinkz in a brawl last Wednesday after he tried to intervene in a fight between his master’s wife and brother-in-law.
Ashanti Regional Police Command confirmed to an undisclosed source that Sumaila Tijani was arrested at a hideout after being on the run. He is currently in custody at the regional police command assisting in investigations to find the other suspected killer.
The well-built actor was popular for his roles as a ‘thug’ in many Kumawood movies.
