Hiplife rapper, Okyeame Kwame alias the Rap Doctor was pleasantly overwhelmed at a party in Tema over the weekend when he was surrounded by a fan who just wanted the rapper to listen to a few lines of his rap.

The young chap, complemented by a hype man cornered the rapper at the car park, just as he was about to hop into his car with his wife and kid, and started to rap away. Okyeame Kwame smiled all the while, swaying to the rhymes from the young rapper although conspicuously struggling to listen to the lyrics amidst unwarranted exclamations from the hype man and the booming sounds from the party.

According to Okyeame Kwame, he was impressed by the support and encouragement the rappers in Tema get from their community. To him, it was quite a rare sight to find an unknown young act like that, with a hype man who believes 100% in his rap skills. He wished however that, there wasn’t so much noise in the background, so he could have listened to what the young rapper had to offer.
