Rapper and C.E.O of AMG Business, Criss Waddle says former hiplife artiste Yaw Siki’s gave his life to Christ because of the potholes on the Accra-Tema Motorway.

According to the rapper, Yaw Siki’s accident was caused by the bad state of the Tema-Motorway which nearly claimed his life. He believes this triggered  Yaw Siki to repent and give his life to Christ.

In 2013, Yaw Siki, born Isaac Okai, was involved in an accident that left him bedridden for months. His survival renewed his faith and hence he gave his life to Christ and started preaching the gospel.

Yaw Siki had his time in 2011 when he released his  “Wope Dodo” song. He however, switched from secular music to gospel.

Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, Criss Waddle said the lack of attention given to the bad state of the Accra-Motorway is worrying.

“The government knows what must be done” and believes that the decision by some people including rapper Donzy and music producer Ephraim not to pay tolls could help draw some attention to the challenges on the road”, he said.
