Tems reacts after being slammed for her extravagant Oscar outfit
Nigerian singer-musician Tems has spoken out after being slammed for her outfit at the 2023 Oscars.
The Grammy-winning vocalist who was nominated for an Academy Award at the 95th edition, which took place on Monday, March 13, 2023, was a highlight of the evening.
Nominated in the best original song category for the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” track “Lift Me Up,” the stunning Tems showed up elegantly in an extravagant bridal-themed gown that made a bold statement.

She received a lot of criticism for what many people thought was one of the best looks of the evening since some Oscar attendees sat behind the singer and may have been inconvenienced by the attire.
Taking to social media several hours after the event has ended, the unfaced Tems shared more pictures of herself in the gorgeous attire with an unbothered caption.
