Explaining himself in a different post, Mugeez stated that there are several varieties of the African Rhythm making it difficult for any foreigner who is not accustomed to the African Sound to be able to judge.

“I go carry Grammy boss enter bimbila then Boliga .. After we go knack am small Kpanlogo! Ego Confuse .. that’s just a dot in gh .. enter another African zone .. e go conf!”

He however encouraged fellow African musicians to not focus too much on the Grammys and focus on making music.
