The ‘new school musicians’ in Ghana are not a competition for me – Krymi

Highly Spiritual Music Signee, Krymi has revealed in an interview that the ‘new school artists’ in Ghana are not a competition for him.

The young talented singer who described his genre of music as RnB, soul and root Afro pop disclosed in an interview with Ted Jones on Ameyaw TV,  that he started his music career when he contested in ‘Stars of The Future’ music reality show in the year 2011 with the likes of Kaakie and Wiyaala.

Krymi also disclosed that he took part in the MTN hit maker reality show, where he was discovered by legendary music producer and CEO of highly spiritual music, Kaywa

According to the singer, he gets inspiration from the old school musicians like, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, Pat Thomas among others.

when asked whether he sees the new school artists as a competition in the music industry, he responded saying, ” i don’t see them as a competition but rather a learning tool, i believe in learning and developing”

Krymi is currently promoting his new song and a video titled ‘Dede’ under Highly Spiritual Music label.
