Ketasco were unstoppable in their quarterfinal victory against Sonrise Christian High in The Sharks all-round junior and senior high academic competition. Dubbed the “Volta battle”, many were expecting Sonrise Christian High to give Keta Senior High a tough contest, judging from their impressive display against Ghana Christian International High in the Round of 16.

This was not to be however, as Ketasco led throughout the four-round contest, from the Right Corner Round (Social Literacy) to the R cubed round (Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic), the STEM round and finally the fans’ favorite, the One-on-One round. Sonrise were on this day a shade of their former selves and could not find their earlier form to face off an impressive Keta side. The final scores were 155 to 20 points in favor of the “Dzolali” side. Keta Senior High joins three other illustrious schools Presec – Legon, Saint Thomas Aquinas and Mawuli School at the semifinal stage.
