Popular Ghanaian highlife legend, Terry Asare Boamah, well known in the entertainment industry as Dada Hafco has divulged that the staff of Despite Media Group who are condemning Nana Ama Mcbrown’s move to Media General’s Onua TV are nothing but hypocrites.

According to the musician, those who are speaking ill of their former colleague’s move are just portraying “masked loyalty” to their bosses.

It will be recalled that prior to Nana Ama’s move, she was the host of The United Showbiz Show, which airs on United Television. But on Monday March 13, 2023, Media General introduced to the world their newest employee which happened to by Nana Ama Mcbrown.

The ‘hini mi’ hitmaker in an interview with Graphic Showbiz on March 15, 2023, asserted that he was very certain the management of Despite Group was not agitated by the transfer of their former employee but surprisingly, a section of the workers have conferred on themselves, spokesperson roles.

In the words of the musician who is a close friend of the actress, “Who in this world doesn’t want change, which comes with growth? That is what Nana Ama has done and she has not wronged anyone by taking the decision. I’m not sure all the workers with Despite Group started with them. Of course not!’’

Dada Hafco to a greater extend explained that “People moved from other places to join Despite Group because they had better offer. I can say that Kwami Sefa Kayi, the host of Kokrooko on Peace FM, is the face of the station. Did he not leave Radio Gold for Peace FM?

The highlife legend concluded by saying that, ‘‘The likes of Afia Pokua and Abeiku Santana all left Multimedia ‘s Adom FM at a time when people thought they were the biggest presenters with the station. Did anyone call them names or say they have betrayed Adom FM? So why are some people spearheaded by Nana Ama’s former colleagues taking such a stance?” he questioned.
