Tigo invades Kwahu this Easter with ‘Free Bonto’ featuring Sarkodie and more

Kwahu-Easter-PressThe Easter season is here again and Kwahu will be buzzing with lots of fun activities. This year, Telecommunications Company, tiGO invades the Kwahu Township with ‘Free Bonto’, with a lineup of exciting and intriguing events and activities which are expected to leave patrons talking well beyond the Easter festivities.   The event kicks off with a Sales Float on Good Friday,  March 29 from Atibie, through to Obomeng which will be followed by a health walk in the early hours of Holy Saturday, March 30. The walk is expected to attract both young and old to develop healthy lifestyles. The health walk will kick off at Obo, through to Obomeng and finally end at Atibie.   In partnership with Multi TV, the Free Bonto Concert Party will take place at the Eastern Palace – Atibie which will provide a platform to experience the best in Ghana comedy with a touch of local music from various artistes. In attendance is the good old Abibiman Drama Group who will treat Kwahu to a fun packed show full of laughter.  To relive the days of high life music, fans will be treated to a concert with sensational Highlife artistes including Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, Nana Acheampong and Nana Tuffour. These artistes will thrill fans at the Free Bonto Highlife Concert, with hit songs like “Abeiku” “Mey3 no more” and “24th”.  These two events will be telecast live on Adom TV  from 4.00pm.     The highlight of the day will be the biggest of all street carnivals with award-winning Sarkodie – “Obidiponbidi” steering affairs at this action-packed carnival.  He is expected to treat fans to hit songs like Azonto Fiesta, Pizza & Burger throughout the night. To round off the celebrations, Free Bonto in collaboration with Y fm will treat the entire township to a relaxing Pool Party at WAGS Hotel in Obomeng.   Kwahu is already envisaging a power packed atmosphere during the Easter festivities. The good news is that, you don’t have to pay anything to celebrate this Easter in a grand style.
