Tinny, Jay Ghartey and others rock YFM Roll Kall
The Aviation Social Centre was the heartbeat of the nation’s capital over the weekend, when throngs of students from various senior high schools across the country turned up for the second edition of Roll Kall, organized by YFM and Planet One Multi Media. Celebrated music icons, Tinny, Jay Ghartey, Asaase Aban, and Stone buoy dished out hit tracks to entertain the students. Other star appearances on the show were Lousika, AJ Nelson, Jupiter, and Gemini who thrilled the students with outstanding performances and gave them the opportunity to join in them on the Roll Kall stage. The event kicked off at exactly 12:30 pm with scores of fun games including soccer and basketball competitions. The various teams proudly represented their schools and competed avidly to grab prices like provisions for school and certificates of participation from YFM and Planet One Multimedia. The YFM crew led by Joel, Jeremie, Jay Foley, and DJ Snoop fired up the excitement with repertoires of hot hiplife tunes. According to Nana Kwame Osei Sarpong, station Manager of Y FM, “this is the second time the station has collaborated with Planet One Multimedia to bring high school students from across the country together on the Roll Kall platform. YFM is for the young and the young at heart and the team at Y FM is committed to organizing such programs with youthful appeal to entertain, educate, explore, and showcase new talents to Ghana,” Mr Sarpong added. The Roll Kall event was followed by an after party with YFM’s DJ Snoop. The senior high school students partied all night till the early hours of Sunday.]]>
