A Ferry Trip

Mykonos is a popular summertime destination for Europeans, Australians, and North Americans. It’s no surprise that the island has so much to offer in terms of beaches, sightseeing opportunities, and entertainment. One way to explore Mykonos is by ferry boat which takes you around the coast of the island through some beautiful views. Mykonos is also connected to other islands in the area like Naxos and Paros, but if you’re up to going a little further, you can see the island of Folegandros, which is the only island to compete with Santorini for its sunset. Booking a ferry ticket for this trip is easier than ever with LetsFerry, so don’t hesitate to experience this kind of adventure. Ferry trips are a must when you go on an island vacation because there is so much to see.

Little Venice

Little Venice is considered one of the most romantic places in Mykonos and this neighborhood is filled with elegantly designed old houses that are situated on the edge of the sea. This location hosts amazing sunset views and travelers always fall in love with the charm and architecture. If you visit Little Venice, you are advised to stay at one of the houses along the shoreline of Mykonos which are truly magical. This neighborhood is home to acclaimed artists and because of the way this neighborhood has been portrayed in their art, it remains one of the most photographed tourist spots in Europe. For entertainment, you can enjoy clubs, bars as well as art galleries, and exhibitions that were once homes of sailors. There are also many tours available for visitors to explore and get to know the neighborhood which caters more to adult visitors.

If you’re looking for a scenic beach to relax on, Agari beach is the perfect spot with beautiful crystal clear waters and a long sandy beach. This beach dates back to the 13th century and is popular among the locals as well as tourists. The beach is a 25-minute drive from Mykonos Town and is considered one of the most relaxing beaches on the island. You will find hotels a short walking distance away from the beach and they are surrounded by beautiful landscapes that allow you to enjoy beautiful Nature. This beach is not the ideal place for children as it is nudist-friendly.

In April 2017, The Mykonos brewing company started to brew its first batches of beer at their new Brewhouse on Mykonos Island. Today, tourists have the option of going on an organized tour and tasting at the brewing company as well as enjoying local restaurants nearby. The tour is not only fun but also informative and interactive which guarantees guests a great time.  The tour does involve walking on steep roads which is something to take a mental note of before visiting this brewery.
