The crime resembles a fictional murder, described in gory detail in the local newspaper, part of a collection of stories penned by struggling writer and social pariah, Edgar Allan Poe (acted by John Cusack). As Poe is questioned by police, another grisly murder occurs, also inspired by a popular Poe story. Realising a serial killer is on the loose using Poe’s writings as the backdrop for a bloody rampage, Fields enlists the author’s help in stopping the attacks. Lies Men Tell: Starring Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Mofe Duncan and Bayray Mcw, Lies Men Tell is a story about issues common with relationships worldwide. Emeka, Jide and Femi are three friends who are caught up in an endless circle of lies, deceit and betrayal. They reach their own peculiar cross roads in their relationships with their wives. Catch Lies Men Tell on Sunday 14 July 2013 at 22:30 CAT.   Marbella Mansions: This fascinating and entertaining series follows interior designers, estate agents and property managers working at the top end of Marbella’s housing market.  Each episode features a mix of big characters and tricky clients with high expectations. The designers oversee the makeovers of some of the most expensive properties in the region, and the series offers viewers a window into a world that most can only dream about. These mansions are built and refurbished with the type of spending habits that would make most people gasp. Catch Marbella Mansions every Sunday from 14 July at 18:00 CAT.  

Defiance: The year 2046 sees an unrecognisable Earth with new rules after various alien races arrive on the planet and throw the world into chaos. A former marine and his adopted alien daughter decide to settle down in a small town seemingly unaffected by the conflict. Once they arrive, the pair quickly realise that things aren’t what they seem. Defiance premieres on Monday 15 July at 20:30 CAT.

Mandela Marathons with Eddie Izzard: This series sees comedian Eddie Izzard attempt to run an incredible 27 marathons in 27 consecutive days across South Africa to commemorate each of the 27 years of world renowned former statesman, Nelson Mandela’s incarceration. Eddie’s marathons give him a chance to tell Mandela’s story, as well as the turbulent history of South Africa. As he travels the country, Eddie stops off at the places that matter most to Mandela, meets the people whose lives he has touched and reveals the chaotic story of a country that has undergone radical change. Mandela Marathons airs Tuesdays at 21:25 CAT.

The Good Wife: This is a riveting blend of courtroom, politics and steamy personal relationships drama series of a wife whose world was shattered when her husband was caught in a corruption scandal. Forced to support her family, Alicia returned to work at a Chicago law firm headed by Diane Lockhart and Will Gardner, a driven attorney with a passion for justice.
