In Rage, a group of school-leavers descend on a tiny coastal town for a celebration of their freedom. Roxy, Sihle, Kyle, Leon, Tamsyn and Neo party on the beach and drink themselves silly every night. The townsfolk, Hermien and her son Albert, are welcoming – too welcoming. During a psychedelic trip on the beach, the friends witness a disturbing birth ritual, which could be a hallucination, or not. Soon fertility figurines start to appear at random places, and what is supposed to be the best holiday of their lives turns to horror as the teenagers are picked off one by one.

Rage is directed by Jaco Bouwer, a multi-award-winning theatre director who was SAFTA-nominated for Dwaalster and earned global acclaimed for his next horror, Gaia, which won the cinematography award at SXSW 2021 and has an 83% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Nicole Fortuin (Indemnity, Flatland) stars as Tamsyn, with The Girl From St Agnes’ breakout stars Jane de Wet (Griekwastad, Moffie) and Tristan de Beer (Raised by Wolves, Alles Malan) as Roxy and Kyle. The cast also includes two-time Silwerskerm winner Carel Nel (Gaia, Dwaalster); two-time Vita winner Lida Botha (4 Mure); Shalima Mkongi (Isithembiso, Keeping Score); Fiesta, Kanna and Fleur du Cap nominee David Viviers (Kanarie, Tali’s Baby Diaries); and Sihle Mnqwazana, who co-wrote and acted in The Fall, a New York Times critics’ choice play.

Calling all Blade fans – Marvel recently gave us awesome news: production is due to start next year on the revival of Blade, with double-Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (Green Book, True Detective, Ramy) as the iconic vampire hunter.

So what better way to celebrate Halloween than a weekend binge with Wesley Snipes in the cult comic book trilogy Blade, Blade II, and Blade: Trinity, all written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Dark City), who directed the third instalment.

Joseph Arning is a Ghanaian-American multimedia artist and Influencer makes top 10 finalist for YouTube original series, Instant Influencer, season two!

He was born in Germany and raised in Ghana, Kenya, and the United States. His mother is a United States Army Veteran who exposed him to a variety of cultures at a young age.

Joseph uploaded his first video to the platform YouTube at the age of eight, which was brand new at the time. By 11 years old he would then go on to experiment with stop motion animation and create short videos with his friends.

Throughout high school, he would make short videos documenting his life and hobbies on Instagram and YouTube. He used a social media as a way to connect with people during the loneliest times of his life. Joseph uses his art as a way to share his experiences and connect with people from all around the world. He believes that his art and videos are a medium to bring people together and connect through shared experiences.

In March of 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, he spent most of his time uploading videos of his art process to the platform TikTok. These videos were extremely successful and received 100 million views by the end of the year. By January of 2021, he gained over 300,000 followers and counting.

In April 2021 he uploaded his audition video for the YouTube original series Instant Influencer and was chosen as one of the 10 finalists. The show premieres on October 27 and artists from all over the United States will be competing for a chance to win the grand prize of $100,000.
