University of Ghana announces commencement of academic work on February 28

The University of Ghana community is informed that the Business and Executive Committee, at a meeting held on 23rd February, 2022, approved a revised academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic year.

With the revised calendar, academic work for the 2021/2022 academic year will commence from Monday, 28th February, 2022. The approved calendar will be circulated soon.

Students, faculty and staff should take note of this, in anticipation that the ongoing ratification processes of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) branches will finalize the suspension of the strike, as announced by their National Executive Committee.
