Officers from the Accra Region Police Command have retrieved the gun Stonebwoy brandished at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Music Award over the weekend.
It followed a search conducted at the home of the dancehall artiste after the commotion that marred the VGMAs.
The BHIM Nation boss was handed a gun by a member of his security after his arch-rival, Shatta Wale, stormed the stage just after he had received the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ award and was about to make a speech.
However, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, have been released on bail after they were held overnight for the violence that marred 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The two are to appear in court at a yet-to-be-determined date, the Accra Region Police Command indicated, Monday.
