vibe squadUK-based Ghanaian quartet, Vibe Squad has ended almost a year of inactivity with a new single that is already making waves. The new single, ‘You’re The One’, combines musical elements from different regions of Africa and embraces it with their Western influences.

Vibe Squad shot to immense fame in the Diaspora early 2009 when they released “Whine Pon Me”, a track that received massive airplay on radio stations and TV channels such as OBE and BEN, eventually leading to group to receive 3 awards in England, Belgium and France.

Wizzy, a member of the group comments that they intend to reach Africa with their new song since their previous tracks was just targeted at Africans in Europe and America. He said, “This time we intend to take the track back home since we believe it can top charts there just as well as in Europe.” He also added that the group took time out to concentrate on their education since they are all in Universities pursuing degrees ranging from Law, Business management to Pharmaceuticals.  “We are now however refocusing some time to pursue our passion as well as our studies which is the reason why we got back into the studio to create this masterpiece.”
