Celebrated Ghanaian actor Adjetey Annan has said that there’s hope in the Ghanaian movie industry although the current state isn’t one that people are proud of.

The actor speaking in an interview on Ameyaw TV admitted to the fact that the movie industry has fallen behind but he believes there’s still hope to make it gain ground.

‘Any industry that thinks there’ve arrived will just begin to crumble definitely there is a lot to be done a lot more we can do to improve. it is getting better there are some high point and also low points the faster we really learn from our mistakes the better. and i think that the potential is there we are seeing the younger generation coming in and it’s giving much hopes. all is not lost definitely we will rise again’ the actor said.

When asked if he has plans of setting up is own production house like some of his colleagues in the movie industry have done, Adjetey noted that he hopes to start producing his own movies in the near future but he wants to be fully prepared for the job to avoid just adding to the numbers.
