Vodafone Ghana Music Awards moved to May 18

Published

on

gma1Its official!!!The 14th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will now be held on May 18. Originally scheduled for April 13, the event will now take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) next month, the organizers have said. Nii Aryeetey Hammond of Charterhouse told Peace  FM’s Akwasi Aboagye on Thursday that all is set for the 2013 edition to roll. The availability of the Conference Centre has for sometime now become a headache for the organizers, after all the dates they would have preferred to host the event, were booked in advance by other organizers and event planners, thus settling for the May 18 date. The DOME of the AICC, which has been hosting the event for sometime now has been closed down for renovations, and would only be opened for business in December, making it impossible for the event to be held there.]]>
