Vodafone Icons Top 24, time for groupings!

icons judgesAfter last weekend’s semi-finals of heartbreaks and smiles, a total of 24 talented young music hopefuls have been selected as finalists for Vodafone Icons: Mixed Editions. The Top 24 finalists are made of 12 males and 12 females. They include 18 from the Accra auditions, namely: Sandra  Bossouvi Owusua, Ruth Anaman, Reuben Nii Ayitey Hammond, Joshua Owusu Afriyie, Nelsyn Narh, Gertrude Hanson- Sackey, Nii Nookwei Tackie, Jasmine Emefa Aikins, Christian Kwabena Amoah, Rosemary Ampofo, Eric Letsa, Nii Nortey Noble, Noella Wiyaala, Chidinma Onuoha, Jayson Smith Amanfoh, Veronica Sarfo Adu- Nti, Addy Bernard N.K Danso, and Emma Orleans- Lindsay . There rest are from Takoradi: Cecil Smooth, Dorinda Ofosuaa, Perez Lamptey; from Kumasi: Richard Owusu; and from Tamale: Peace Ayillah, and Henry Akongbota.  These talented music hopefuls with different backgrounds will battle it out for the ultimate prize of GHC 60,000, a one year management contract and an opportunity to perform at the Vodafone 020 Live. Contestants are now getting ready for ‘Boot Camp’, where they will group into three groups of 8. This Sunday’s episode of Icons will reveal the 8 mixed groups who will battle it out for the ultimate prize.  Icons is showing every Sunday at 7:30pm on Metro TV and at 8pm on TV3 , eTV, 4syt TV, Skyy Digital, GH One and Hitz TV on Multi TV.  ]]>
