Watch: About 7 movie producers owe me money- Kofi Adjorlolo

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo, has angrily called out movie producers who seek the services of actors and refuse to pay after the job is done.

According to the actor, not getting paid for their jobs is one of the reasons why several elderly actors are bedridden with no funds to cater for themselves.

Mr Adjorlolo, who spent 17 years in the broadcasting industry before taking on an acting career was speaking to Ibrahim Ben Bako of Joy Prime when he made these allegations.

“Some of the producers in Ghana here, they should respect themselves…old man like me, they call me to come and work and they can’t pay me…”

“About seven producers in this country owe me monies…why? And then I’m sitting at home, I’m hungry, and then when I’m sick too nobody pays attention…Look we have elderly people lying down on their sickbeds and these producers owe them,” he revealed.

“Actors in Ghana here know what I’m talking about, these producers don’t pay!” he added.

He also rubbished news that he is worth eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000).

“…Me! Me! eight hundred what…?” he quizzed.
