WATCH: Amaarae performs at Governors Ball 2021
Ghanaian-American musician Amaarae who is currently on her “Crazy Wurld Tour” has graced this year’s Governors Ball Music Festival in New York.
The 3-day-festival kicked off on September 24, 2021 – Sep 26, 2021. The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker took the stage on Sunday and thrilled fans with an electrifying performance.

After canceling the festival in 2020 due to COVID-19, Governors Ball returned this year with Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin, and Post Malone as the headlined acts.
Leon Bridges, Kehlani, Orville Peck and Rüfüs Du Sol were a few of the artists who performed on the festival’s opening day on Friday (Sept. 24). While many genres were repped onstage, all the artists expressed their excitement about being back in front of their fans.
