Ghanaian actor and fashion designer Elikem Kumordzie has revealed the real reason why he shut down his Flagship store in East Legon.
Speaking in an interview on AmeyawTV at the launch of ‘Tribassa’ by singer turned entrepreneur, Irene Logan, the actor disclosed that he has not been active in the movie industry because he’s focusing more on fashion.
According to him, he’s doing great as a fashion designer.
“I haven’t been in any movie cause I’m focusing more on fashion and fashion has taken a great turn for me I’ve been doing amazing things I opened a flagship store in east legon it was too expensive I shut it down I am building a new flagship store at dzowolo where my old retail place was and i am trying to go straight into retail now, i am trying to be the Zara of Africa in a few years, I’m trying to go big into retail, I wanna be a millionaire” he said.
Elikem also disclosed that he represented Ghana as a guest designer at the recently held Zambia fashion week and adds that he’ll be in South Africa this week to host a musical talent show for three weeks.
