Watch: John Dumelo fulfils campaign promise, distributes laptops to students in Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency

Actor turned politician, John Dumelo, has fulfilled his August promise to help enhance education by giving out laptops to brilliant but needy students in his constituency, Ayawaso West Wuogon,

In August 2020, John Dumelo promised to collaborate with the “John Dumelo Foundation” and distribute 4,000 laptops to students in his constituency.

In a video shared on his official Instagram page, John Dumelo is seen going round distributing the laptops with recipients showing their appreciation.

“Our commitment to give out over 4000 laptops to Tertiary students in Ayawaso West started weeks back. I pledge my support to improve education and easy learning amongst the youth for a greater Ghana.” John captioned.

One of the recipients of the laptop, a visually-impaired young student of the University of Ghana, Legon, said he was pleased that the actor now turned politician had come to his aid.

Another lady, a distance education student, said she was really surprised that Dumelo responded to her message and followed up by gifting her the laptop.
