WATCH: Kuami Eugene, Adina, Medikal, Kelvynboy performances and all the exclusive highlights of Miss Malaika 2019

Over the weekend, the National Theater was lit with amazing performance, beauty, and fashion as the 2019 Miss Malaika pageant crowned its new queen. On the finale, 10 contestants battled it out as they shared the humanitarian projects they have designed to embark on if they win the crown.

The judges, Kojo Jones, Naa Ashorkor, Jocelyn Dumas, Claudia Lumor and James Gardiner watched keenly as the 10 finalists took turns to share their ideas and answer questions thrown at them, for the cash prize, the car and the very enviable Miss Malaika Ghana crown.

One contestant called Fynnba was announced the winner of the talent hunt. She was one of three delegates shortlisted to compete for this award.

Mbord, the first runner-up was voted by the delegates as Miss Congeniality and also won the title, Miss Inteligencia which comes with a three months internship offer at Charterhouse Ghana.

The delegates were later cut down to the final five, which consisted of Mbord, Phylis, Alma, Habiba, and Kimberly.

At the end of the night, a 19-year-old student at the University of Ghana, Legon, Phylis Vesta Boison was crowned the winner of Miss Malaika Ghana 2019 beauty pageant. Mbord Astanga, 23, came in as the first runner up and Habiba Bint-Abdallah came in as the second runner up.

Ghanaian musicians Dope Nation, Kelvynboy, Adina, Medikal and Kuami Eugene entertained guests with amazing performances.
