The Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts & Culture Dr Ziblim Barri Iddi has advised the Ghanaian entertainment industry players to get connected with the year of return 2019

The “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” is a major landmark spiritual and birth-right journey inviting the Global African family, home and abroad, to mark 400 years of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in Jamestown, Virginia.

Since its launch, ‘the year of return’ has welcomed some prominent people in the world including, Samuel L. Jackson, Kofi Kingston, Steve Harvey, Danny Glover and others to Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on AmeyawTV at the Black Star Film Festival, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture Dr Ziblim Barri Iddi urged industry players to take advantage of this initiative to meet and network with the Global stars while they are in the country.

‘If you hear that Samuel L. Jackson is in town is for your management team to reach out to their team so that you can connect and network and get whatever collaboration you want to discuss. we expect industry players to tap into the opportunity ‘ Dr Iddi said when asked how the ‘year of return’ initiative will benefit the Ghanaian entertainment industry players.
