Watch: Vic Mensa sings Nkasei’s “Tuabodom” perfectly

Grammy award-winning American rapper, Vic Mensa has proven that he’s very familiar with his roots in Ghana. 

 

Vic, real name Victor Kwesi Mensah, was spotted on 4Syte TV, singing word for word, the popular “Tuabodom” song by Nkasei.

Explaining how he got to know the song very well to the presenter, Vic explained that it was the popular song in Ghana when he first visited as a kid.

“That was my favourite song when we were kids. When I was 11 years old and in Ghana for the very first time, that was the biggest song at the time,” he told the presenter.

Vic Mensa was born to a Ghanaian father and an American mother. Since his first visit at 11 years old, the rapper has stayed true to his roots and has visited the country on countless occasions.
