Ghanaian comedian, SDK Dele on Monday, May 13th, 2019 passed through the studios of Ameyaw TV for a brief chat about his career and the way forward for him.

According to him, his career kick started when after applying for the Zylofon Media Arts Fund, they provided him with some equipment for production.

“I requested for 10,000 cedis. They told me to bring a proposal for what I wanted. They got me a phone, a laptop and a camera. They have really been helpful to me and I thank them a lot,” he told Ameyaw Debrah.

When asked if he was making any money from his skits yet, SDK mentioned that he was yet to monetize it.

” I haven’t monetized it on YouTube yet. I want to produce longer skits for YouTube. When brands see me and they want an advert, I do it for them. I have worked with Vodafone and Huaweii and other brands”, he added.

SDK who has featured his parents on some of his skits expressed his appreciation to them for always helping out and giving him some ideas. He however doesn’t want Ghanaians to think that he’s funny because of his parents.

SDK also mentioned that he’s thinking of producing his own movie which he hopes will come out by the end of the year.

“I’m thinking of doing my own movie. Maybe this year or early next year.I want to do a dope movie that Ghanaians will enjoy because they are paying attention to movies now.”
