Ghanaian music duo, R2Bees have said that they are not interested in awards after a fan shared a post on Twitter inviting fans to vote for the duo in the upcoming Soundcity Award Festival.

The two have in the past expressed lack of interest in awards as well as promoting their music through the media. They believe good music speaks for itself and hence, the need for their music to sell itself.

In a recent interview on Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM, Paedae is quoted to have said:

“I will never send you a song to post for me. The reason is that I trust the music so much and I believe it will do just right,” Paedae said.
