Wendy Shay reveals who her god-father is

Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has revealed that reggae-dancehall musician, Shatta Wale is her god-father.

The two released their new collaboration, “Stevie Wonder” a couple of days ago.

Before the release of the song, Shatta Wale had taken to social media to say so many sweet things about the “Uber Driver” hit maker. In a post, he declared her the “New Artist of the year.”

In an interview on Saturday on Joy FM, Shatta Wale also stated that he wishes to date/marry a woman like Wendy Shay. According to him, Wendy was well mannered and focused other than his ex, Shatta Michy.

Responding to the “marriage proposal” from Shatta Wale in an interview with Joy News’ MzGee, Wendy said:

“After we did the song, my verse. Bullet and I like were like Shatta Wale is the best person for this song. And he been my god-father and all.”

When asked by MzGee about the proposal by Shatta Wale, Wendy replied saying Shatta Wale was a free spirited person and it’s something she will talk about behind camera. She also added that she likes him because he’s a very very nice person.

Well let’s wait and see what will happen with these two.
