Starboy Wizkid has reportedly joined the list of the highest paid artists in the world after he performed at a Royal Wedding at one of the world’s top private residences, Umaid Bhawan Palace in India.

The ‘Fever’ hitmaker was reportedly paid 50 million Rupees which is 681,200 US dollars and equivalent to 245.9 million.

Wizkid and his Band gave a Live Performance at the wedding yesterday, and he got Indians dancing to his songs like Soco, Fake Love and more. According to a post made by a twitter user World Publicist, the Nigerian pop star joined the list of the highest paid artists in the world after being paid such a huge amount:

It’s however unclear if this new achievement makes him the “first African artist” to join the list. Earlier this year, Wizkid signed a deal with sportswear giant Nike to produce and sell the Star Boy jerseys making him the first African artist to have an official jersey.
