The Heritage Theatre Series’ iconic production Wogbɛ Jɛkɛ: Our Journey returns this Easter at the National Theatre in Accra, after a momentous offering in March, which drew hundreds of patrons to the Amphitheatre at the University of Ghana.
A comprehensive and interesting trip down memory lane, the production has been widely received, and has seen patronage from both key dignitaries and regular folk alike. It parades a crew and cast of nearly 200, and is scheduled for Saturday April 15th, and Sunday April 16th.
Since it was first staged in 2015, the Chief Moomen original has been staged a total of 19 times. Co-directed by Joyce Anima Misa Amoah and Abdul Karim Hakib, it is supported by Key Soap, and a host of media partners.
