She looked absolutely stunning in the perfect A-Line silhouette skirt that enhanced her elegant and sophisticated figure. The flowing skirt just moved with Mrs. Obama’s beautiful curves and great figure during her time on “The View” and Mimi was very honoured and delighted to have the First Lady select her skirt for the show. Michelle Obama also highlighted her message that having access to healthy, affordable food can promote better eating habits. Mrs. Obama also discussed the history of the White House garden, some of the recipes in the book, and tips for starting your own garden no matter where you live. View photos of her visit below! The First Lady’s appearance on ‘The View’ is part of the show’s continuing “Red, White & View” campaign highlighting interviews and informational segments that promote civic responsibility. Mrs. Obama previously appeared on “The View” in April 2011 and June 2008, when she made her daytime television debut as a special guest co-host. “The View,” a live, one-hour daily talk show from ABC (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET), features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It’s the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colourful conversations. michelle obama in mimi plange skirts 1Mimi Plange is a Ghana-born, California-raised designer who studied architecture and fashion before relocating to New York, where she cut her teeth working for stylist Patricia Field and designer Rachel Roy. Mimi Plange launched Boudoir D’Huitres in 2007 and became known for eschewing seasonal trends in favour of staying true to her twin influences – Victorian fashion and her African heritage. Mimi Plange presented her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection during New York Fashion Week at the private residences of The Setai and showed off why she is an up-and-coming designer to look out for.  Having just completed a second collaboration of women’s shoes with Manolo Blahnik, the fashionista talked with us about her work thus far as well as her muse for this season’s looks.
