Dubbed ‘Roll Kall’, this maiden edition of Y FM’s youth festival will bring together all high school youth in the country onto one great platform for what organizers of the event call ‘the event that will turn the capital city upside down with crazy performances’. 

Station Manager of Y FM, Nana Kwame Osei Sarpong reiterates that ‘Y FM is poised on redefining entertainment in Ghana and Ghanaians should watch for Y FM’s events. We are committed to bringing the ‘Y experience’ and lifestyle to the doorstep of our listeners and non listeners alike’. He added that ‘as part of our commitment to providing opportunities for our youth, we are also using this event to bring into the limelight one of Ghana’s youngest and creative entrepreneur, Nelly Aboagye, who is a British Council Young Creative Entrepreneur Fashion Finalist. As a side attraction, there will be a fashion show that will showcase some of her designs.’

Activities lined up for the event include jama competition, rap battles , dance battles ,formation dance, pool tables ,basketball, 5 aside football, tag of war, ampe etc. and will be crowned with breathtaking performances from some of Ghana’s finest artistes. Artistes on the bill are Tictac, Asem, D Cryme, Rana, Atumpan, OJ Blaq, Cute Family, Guru, D-Black, Quabena Maphia, Trigmatic, Dee Money, Lil Shaker, Jupiter, Scientific, Akoo Nana, D2, Apaatse and many more.

‘Roll Kall’ is a partnership between YFM and Planet One multimedia in collaboration with the British Council.
