#YearOfReturn: Ghana to showcase her precious ornaments at ‘Gold Statement’ jewellery exhibition December 5-7

A decade after its inaugural exhibition, ‘Gold Statement’, will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) from December 5- 8, 2019.
The event organized by Rapport Services aims to brand Ghana as a Jewelry hub in West Africa and beyond. Tagged as the ‘Year of Return’ edition, organizers are working closely with all stakeholders to Ghana properly to benefit from the multi-million Dollar Jewellery industry.
There will be free Jewelry Exhibition from December 5-7 starting
8am daily. A Gala Night and Jewellery Catwalk will be held on December 7 from 7pm with tickets going for GHC150 (single), GHC250 (double).
Explaining the rationale behind the event, Judy Nakuor Crayem, CEO of Rapport Services recounted:
“The journey that has brought us here today started in 2001, when former president John Agyekum Kufuor, announced the Presidential Initiative on value addition to Gold. In 2007, the maiden edition of Gold Statement conference, Sales Exhibition and Jewellery catwalk took place at the International Conference Centre.”
