Popular Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, widely known as Drogba from the hit series YOLO, is preparing to undergo medical treatment overseas following recommendations from his doctors.

He has been battling demyelinating disease for the past two years, a condition affecting the nervous system with potential impacts on vision, coordination, and sensation. In a heartfelt Instagram post on March 8, 2024, John expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received since his diagnosis and appealed for continued support as he seeks specialized treatment abroad. A fundraising campaign has been launched to assist with the associated expenses.

John’s health challenges became public during the final season of YOLO, and his sister, Hannah Mensah, has been instrumental in sharing updates and managing support efforts. The actor remains hopeful and committed to sharing updates on his treatment journey with fans, stressing the importance of ongoing support during this critical time.
