Exactly one year after the publication of her controversial memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” the well-known Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, is considering releasing a sequel.


The initial release of the memoir generated significant attention and discussions, making it a trending topic for several weeks. Within her memoir, Yvonne Nelson disclosed personal details about her family, romantic life, abortion, and journey of self-discovery.


As she commemorates the anniversary of the book’s release, she expressed appreciation for the support she has received and hinted at revealing more of her truth to the public. Taking to social media, Yvonne Nelson shared her reflections on the responses to her memoir, acknowledging both the love and criticism she encountered. She emphasized the necessity for more truth in society, stating that it is “drowning in lies.” She then playfully suggested the potential for a sequel, stating, “Part 2? Let’s see.”

I sat back, observed and said to myself, ……..our society needs more TRUTH, IT IS DROWNING IN LIES. Part 2? Let’s see,” she wrote.

The renowned actress also highlighted the success of her book tour, “The Real Tour,” which she described as one of the most rewarding experiences following the release of her memoir. She recounted the joyful interactions with her audience and announced intentions to distribute complimentary copies of her book.

While the memoir garnered positive reviews, it also sparked negative reactions from individuals like Nigeria’s Iyanya, who was mentioned in the book. Nonetheless, the Princess Tyra actress remains dedicated to sharing her truth and advocating for honesty in society in the upcoming chapter two.
