Juls presents ‘Mmayewa’ featuring Twitch4Eva and Quamina MP

Superstar DJ, Producer and Songwriter, Juls Baby is back with some fresh sounds for our ears. After the success of his surprise EP “Happy Place” the East Londoner takes a trip home to his home Ghana. This new record is a fresh traditional Ghana sound.

Typical highlife record with a modern touch. Collaborating with Ground Up Chale Records heavy weights Twitch 4 Eva and Quamina MP, the song depicts a celebration of life despite hard times. The song will be live on the 9th of October.

Commenting on the project Juls said:

“This record produced and written by Juls channels his Ghanaian roots. Depicting traditional Ghanaian elements in the music particularly highlife. It’s a party starter and the featured artists Quamina MP (who had the biggest song in Ghana over the Christmas) and twitch 4 Eva (Ground Up chale new sensation) bring the track to life.

“They are currently the front runners for new artists from Ghana carrying the torch. The song was influenced by me watching videos of hall parties that Ghanaians and Nigerians partake in celebrating our culture with good food and dance.”
